Getting Started

How to Import Documents

1. From Files: Tap the "+" button → "Import from Files" → Choose your PDF or text file
2. From Web: Copy any article URL → Tap "+" → "Import from URL" → Paste and tap Import
3. From Share Sheet: Open any app (Safari, Files, etc.) → Tap Share → Select "Read2You"

How to Listen

1. Open any document
2. Tap the Play button
3. Adjust speed with the speed control (0.5x - 2.0x)
4. Tap any paragraph to "play from here"

Voice Settings

Go to Settings → Voice & Speech to:

• Choose your preferred voice
• Adjust speech rate and pitch
• Download additional language voices

Common Questions

How do I bookmark a page?

Tap the bookmark icon while reading. Access bookmarks from the document menu.

How do I highlight text?

Long press on any text and select "Highlight". Choose highlight colors in settings.

Does it work offline?

Yes! Free and On-Device Pro work completely offline. Cloud Pro requires internet for AI features only.

How do I change the voice?

Settings → Voice & Speech → Select Voice. Download voices for other languages as needed.

Can I organize documents into folders?

Yes! Long press on a document and select "Move to Folder" or create new folders from the library view.

How do I delete a document?

Swipe left on the document in your library and tap Delete.

Can I export audio?

Currently audio playback only. Export feature may come in a future update.

Troubleshooting

App crashes or freezes

1. Force quit the app
2. Restart your device
3. Make sure you're running the latest version
4. If issue persists, contact support

Voice not working

1. Check device volume and mute switch
2. Go to Settings → Voice & Speech
3. Try selecting a different voice
4. Make sure voice model is downloaded

Import not working

1. Check internet connection (for URL imports)
2. Make sure file is PDF or TXT format
3. File size must be under 100MB
4. Try importing from Files app instead

Subscription not activating

1. Restart the app
2. Go to Settings → Restore Purchases
3. Check App Store subscriptions are active
4. Contact support if still not working

Background audio not working

1. Make sure playback has started before backgrounding the app
2. Check that audio is playing (not paused)
3. Verify no other apps are playing audio
4. Try playing, waiting a few seconds, then pressing the home button
5. Audio should continue playing in the background

Privacy & Data

• Free & On-Device Pro: Zero data collection, everything local
• Cloud Pro: Content sent for processing, deleted immediately
