Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Read2You ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Read2You is a mobile application that converts text documents into audio using text-to-speech technology. The App offers:

Free Plan: Limited daily listening with on-device voices
On-Device Pro: Unlimited listening with premium on-device voices ($4.99/month)
Cloud Pro: On-Device Pro features plus AI summaries and cloud voices ($12.99/month)

Subscriptions

Auto-Renewable Subscription Information

Subscription Terms:

On-Device Pro: $4.99/month (Monthly subscription)
Cloud Pro: $12.99/month (Monthly subscription)

Length of Subscription: Both subscriptions are monthly (30 days). Each subscription period provides access to all features for that tier for the full month.

Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and managed through the App Store.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

Cancellation: Cancel anytime through App Store subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time. No cancellation fees.

How to Manage Your Subscription

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name at the top
Tap "Subscriptions"
Select Read2You
Cancel or modify your subscription as needed

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies. To request a refund:

Sign in with your Apple ID
Find Read2You purchase
Request refund

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Use the App to violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
Process content you do not have the right to access or distribute
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
Use the App to generate content for commercial distribution
Share your subscription access with others
Use automated systems to abuse the service

Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to documents and content you import
The App does not claim ownership of your content
For Cloud Pro: Content sent for processing is used only for your request and deleted immediately

App Content

The App, including all code, design, and functionality, is owned by Read2You
You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App or its components
Voice models are licensed for personal use within the App only

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Key Privacy Points:

Free & On-Device Pro: No data collection, everything local
Cloud Pro: Content processed and immediately deleted
No tracking or analytics beyond subscription status
Apple handles all payment information

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

We do not warrant that:

The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
Voice quality will meet your expectations
Content extraction will be 100% accurate
Cloud services will be available 24/7

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months
We are not responsible for content you import or how you use the App

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted in the App and on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
